Role Overview:
As the Amsterdam Growth Launcher, you will be responsible for building Onboard’s first community of activated and passionate creators in the city. You will focus on engaging the Dutch Creators, particularly in Amsterdam, to drive Onboard’s adoption within this key demographic. This role requires an entrepreneurial mindset, event marketing expertise, and the ability to forge strong relationships with creators, influencers, and local communities.

You understand the power of grassroots activation and can execute a blend of offline events, community partnerships, and influencer-driven growth strategies.
Your mission, should you choose to accept it:
The goal for this role is to launch and expand Onboard’s reach within the Dutch Creator Community, with a strong focus on those based in Amsterdam. You will drive activations and other engagement strategies that lead to an increase in sign-ups, activations, and transactions in Amsterdam, Netherlands.
Contract & Compensation

Trial Phase: Show You Can Deliver
- Complete a 30-day trial to generate 50 Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs)
- Earn $250 once you hit this milestone
- If the milestone isn't reached, the contract is not extended
Level 1: Base Pay + MQL Commission
- Guaranteed base pay of $375 per month
- $5 per signed-up & KYC’d MQL, capped at $1,250 per month
- Total possible earnings from MQLs: $1,625/month ($375 base + $1,250 max commission)
Level 2: Unlimited Earnings from Activations
- $25 per activated user (user must deposit/transact at least $300/month).
- No cap on activation earnings—the more activations, the higher your earnings.
- Bonus: $250 for every 50 activations.
Level 3: Scale Performance → More Earnings
Top performers qualify for:
- A monthly retainer ($500) + commissions.
- Opportunities to expand into other markets & long-term contracts.
What you will do:
Community Building & Partnerships
- Identify and onboard Dutch Creators, particularly in Amsterdam, who will champion Onboard within their communities.
- Establish partnerships with co-working spaces, creator hubs, local businesses, and influencers that cater to creator communities in Amsterdam.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to foster long-term engagement.
Event Marketing & Activation
- Plan, organise, and execute high-impact events that engage and onboard creators in Amsterdam.
- Develop unique event formats that resonate with the creator audience (e.g., networking nights, workshops, pop-ups).
- Leverage offline activations to drive word-of-mouth adoption of Onboard.
Growth & User Acquisition
- Design and execute local marketing campaigns targeting Dutch Creator communities in Amsterdam.
- Oversee referral programs and ambassador initiatives to accelerate adoption among Dutch Creators
- Track key performance metrics and iterate on strategies to optimise results.
Market Insights & Competitor Analysis
- Conduct market research to understand the financial needs, pain points, and behaviours of the creators in the Netherlands.
- Keep a pulse on industry trends and competitor activity to refine Onboard’s growth playbook.
- Provide regular feedback to the product and marketing teams to enhance our offerings.
You will be a perfect fit if you have:
- 2+ years of experience in talent management, community building, growth marketing, event marketing, or a related role.
- Proven experience launching and scaling a brand, product, or community in a new market.
- Deep understanding of the creative landscape in Amsterdam.
- Strong personal network within the creator and influencer community in Amsterdam.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and nurture relationships.
- Ability to execute quickly, adapt strategies, and work independently in a fast-moving environment.
