The Role:

As a Product Growth Manager (Data), you’ll play a critical role in driving retention, revenue, and referrals by leveraging data to uncover insights, improve user experiences, and maximize growth opportunities. You will be responsible for analyzing and interpreting data to inform product and marketing strategies, improving user engagement, and identifying ways to generate incremental revenue. This is an analytical and strategic role that will involve close collaboration with multiple teams to translate data into action.


What You’ll Do:

Data-Driven Retention Strategies

  • Analyze user behavior and engagement data to identify drop-off points and develop strategies to improve retention.
  • Create user segmentation models to deliver personalized experiences and messaging.
  • Collaborate with the Product and Customer Success teams to execute initiatives that enhance user satisfaction and loyalty.

Database Management

  • Develop and maintain data warehouses/lakes (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, or Azure Synapse).
  • Monitor data reliability, integrity, and performance.

Revenue Optimization

  • Evaluate monetization trends and user transaction patterns to identify opportunities for revenue growth.
  • Conduct cohort analyses to understand the lifetime value of different customer segments and optimize pricing or feature utilization strategies.
  • Partner with the marketing and sales teams to design and measure the effectiveness of upsell or cross-sell campaigns.

Referral Growth

  • Leverage data insights to identify advocates within the user base and design referral incentives to maximize viral growth.
  • Track the performance of referral campaigns and optimize for better ROI.

Data Reporting and Insights Delivery

  • Serve as the go-to resource for growth-related data requests across the organization.
  • Develop dashboards and reports that provide visibility into key growth metrics (e.g., retention rates, churn, ARPU).
  • Present insights and recommendations to senior leadership and cross-functional teams.

Collaboration and Support

  • Work closely with engineering and product teams to ensure data integrity and availability for analysis.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to design and measure the impact of data-driven campaigns.
  • Partner with customer support to identify trends in user feedback and incorporate insights into product roadmaps.

What You’ll Bring:

  • 3-5 years of experience in data analytics, product analytics, or a similar role in a growth-focused environment.
  • Proficiency in SQL & Python for data manipulation and analysis.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
  • Strong understanding of statistical methods and data modeling.
  • Strong understanding of growth metrics and frameworks (e.g., AAARRR).
  • Ability to translate complex data into actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Experience designing and executing retention and revenue growth experiments.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.


It’d Be Awesome If You Also Have:

  • A background in fintech, crypto, or other tech-driven industries.
  • Experience working with product teams to define and measure key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • The ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines for data projects.
  • Knowledge of machine learning techniques for predictive analytics (e.g., churn prediction models).
  • Self-starter mentality and the ability to build campaigns from scratch: be ready to roll up your sleeves and get things done
  • Crypto experience and knowledge of the crypto market

Our Hiring Process:

  • You'll have a 30-minute chat with our HR Manager to get to know each other, learn more about the team, and ask any questions you might have about the company and the role.
  • If the interview goes well, you'll be given a short written take-home project.
  • If that goes well, you'll have a second-round interview with the Hiring Manager.
  • If we're both really excited, we'll request your time to speak with our CEO, Yele, for a final interview.
  • Should we both be happy to proceed, our HR manager will engage you again to discuss an offer and proceed to signing, after which we'll arrange for your remote onboarding and induction before your day 1.
