Summary

We’re looking for a dynamic community builder to join our marketing team. You will craft the community strategy from the very start. You will find creative ways to connect Chatdesk clients and friends to share advice, ask questions, be inspired, and have fun. You will often serve as the face of the company (online and in-person) as you bring people together. You will drive growth by creating something people want to be part of.

Your impact

  • Own strategy and execution of community programs to raise brand awareness, engage clients, and support revenue goals
  • Align with marketing, sales, and client success on shared objectives
  • Develop relationships with our clients, partners, and thought leaders
  • Organize, promote, and host online events with clients and partners
  • Organize and promote offline events like client dinners
  • Organize and execute booths at trade shows, including travel onsite
  • Grow our followers and engagement on LinkedIn with our target clients
  • Assist with content for community engagement
  • Drive and monitor online customer reviews / testimonials
  • Analyze and report on community engagement metrics

Requirements

  • Proven experience leading community-building initiatives
  • Experience planning and executing events for a high-growth company
  • Passionate about building and nurturing online communities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • You’re self-driven and active — on social media and IRL

Preferred but not required

  • Familiarity with the ecommerce industry, especially beauty or fashion brands
  • Experience in social media or PR
  • It's a big plus if you live in NYC or LA, but we'll also consider remote positions within the U.S. (travel required)
