Summary

As Chatdesk’s Lead Generation Manager, you’ll play a critical role on our Marketing team. You’ll be responsible for acquiring and nurturing leads that drive awareness, consideration, and purchase intent through unpaid and paid channels, prioritizing unpaid first.

Your impact

Initiatives you’ll own include:

  • Launch and manage Chatdesk e-mail newsletter that goes out to prospects & existing customers
  • Develop an audience segmentation framework and come up with personalized e-mail sequences to drive high conversion rates
  • Create multi-channel, integrated campaigns that align messaging to the target audience
  • Working closely with our content manager to develop content for your lead generation campaigns
  • Working closely with our Partnerships & Events Manager to plan out events for lead generation
  • Launching a referral program for Chatdesk
  • Finding the right paid marketing mix to drive leads (e.g. LinkedIn)

Requirements

  • Strong email marketing competency: Proficiency in email marketing best practices and ability to optimize this key channel in collaboration with Marketing Ops and Content
  • 4+ years demand generation or channel marketing experience for B2B or customer support products.  
  • Strong analysis, strategic and creative thinking, team leadership, planning, organizing, problem-solving skills, and a passion for using data, insights, and trends to understand buyer behavior with a test-and-adjust mentality.  
  • Ability to tell compelling stories by way of campaign copy to win the hearts and minds of our customers within the defined style and brand guidelines   
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to multitask, set measurable objectives, manage defined timelines and budgets for each campaign.  
  • Understanding of key demand creation approaches, including digital, social, web, nurture programs, email, events, webinars, content syndication, and more.  
  • Ability to work effectively independently and get things done under tight deadlines while juggling multiple priorities

Preferred but not required

  • Previous experience with B2B marketing to e-commerce brands
  • Previous experience with acquiring customers who are leaders in the customer support or marketing function
  • Previous experience with email tools like Klaviyo
